She was born in Alliance on February 26, 1943 to Harold J. and Clara E. (Eberle) Wachsman. Sandy graduated from Randolph High School in 1961 and had a 45 year career in banking and human resources with Bank One before retiring in October 2022 from Hartville Collectibles.
Sandy enjoyed her time spent with her family most. There were many beach vacations to Nags Head, Myrtle Beach, Sanibel and Aruba. She enjoyed 4H shows with her granddaughters and extended 4H family.
Preceded in death by her husband Tom of 56 years, who she married October 22, 1966.
She is survived by her daughters Denise (Scott) Weaver and Lori (Forrest) Miller, granddaughters: Megan Schott, Katherine (Jacob Wise) Weaver & Sara Weaver, along with her Yorkie Paisley Grace.
Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 1pm until the 3pm funeral service, officiated by Chaplain Terry Arnold. Private inurnment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph at a later date.
