The daughter of Roy and Rosa Wolford, she was born on September 21st, 1941 in Somerset, Pa. She nourished everyone who knew her with her loving, caring personality. Shirley loved to sew and make crafts and camping as a member of the Good Sam Club. She enjoyed being with and watching her grandson, Tony, grow up and play baseball. Shirley was an active member of several churches over her lifetime, a Sunday school teacher and choir member.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Taylor (Bill) William Horne, married on March 25th, 1961.
She is survived by her four children: Son, David Horne, daughters: Wanda (Wayne) Devine, Barbara (Nick) Ramicone and Connie Horne, seven grandchildren: Eric, Troy, Bradley, Eric (Bubba), Jasmine, Jaime and Tony and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna from 11:00am until the funeral service, officiated by Pastor David Ballert, at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
