My first memory of my twin brother was when we were 5 and had our tonsils out together.  I remember trying to call a nurse because I drank all my water, but none came.  He was in the bed next to me, sat up and said "you can have my water" and gave me his.  I remember thinking "this is great having a twin brother".  He was always there for me and I miss him so much.

The man was like a father to me

Dianna ,Stephanie & Darren  May  Gods loving  arms  surround  you  in  the  days  too  come..Stan  will  be missed at  church. I am  so  happy  he  was able  to  be  Santa Claus this  year. He was a natural  . There  were many  things he  did  for  us in plays ,VBS . Janie & Denise

Dear Stan, 

I never met you but I feel I know you well... I feel I know you because I know your son, Daren, very well... Just like you did Stan, Daren understands the purpose of life. Daren knows the perfect balance between 'the grind that is life' that takes great discipline, and the need to loosen people up with good-humored fun. From the comments on this site, he embodies the balance that you brought to this earth. You raised Daren to be a great man, and he is a valuable member of a family that I have been building, called Go2Go. The Go2Go family will be in attendance for your service, (in Brown and Orange :)), just as Daren would be there for any of our family members. A leader by example, Stan, he will carry your spirit forever, into eternity.

So sad to hear of loss of Stan.  I am so thankful that I got to see you and Ann at our class reunion, and that I got to know Stan thru Facebook. RIP, Stan. You helped to make the world a better place.

So sorry, Diana, Stephanie and Daron to hear of your dad's passing.   He was so much fun!   Never forget how he had all my first graders shouting "We want monkeys" on Stephanie's field trip to the Akron zoo.     
  He will be missed by everyone who knew him, but especially you!   Just keep happy memories!

Stan was a menber of our Church and he will be missed and yes I know the feeling and I wish the very best for Dianna and his children and the only advice I can give is to keep busy and those who have gone on before us are  imbedded in us so they will never be forgotten.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

I remember all the ruckus we caused in the choir loft. Never realized how difficult we made rehearsals for the choir director until I became one. After my accident, I was walking up the isle on crutches behind the choir on crutches, wondering how to tell everyone I'd be crippled the rest of my life. I was very embarrassed UNTIL.... Stand hollered out from the choir loft, "God bless us, everyone!" The whole congregation laughed. I knew then, that I'd be accepted as I was. Loved the "one" earrings he wore for each holiday, his caramel corn, peanut brittle, his many talents and his beautiful smile. Sing in heaven with my Mom, Stan. Even though she died before you met her, she'll know you by your love! God hold your family in his arms as they pass through these difficult months ahead.

In loving memory of someone who always made me feel like I was part of the family - you will be greatly missed. My prayers and deepest sympathy are with Stephanie, Dianna, Daren and family during this difficult time.

I will always remember all the good times we had together, over the last 48+years.We have shared a lot together over these years. I will cherish the memories forever. He was my best friend, and always will be.

To the best neighbor I have ever had.  To a great friend,  till we meet again, you will be greatly missed and remembered with great memories, your great food and your wonderful laugh.  God speed my friend.

It was such a kick to watch Stan with his grandkids. He truly knew how to make them giggle. He is truly missed.

I always enjoyed Stan's fun loving nature. I am glad I was his pastor for nine years. I will miss him. He was a good friend.
