He was born August 11, 1950, in Nitro, West Virginia, to parents Albert Franklin and Virginia (Davis) McDaniel. Steve worked in maintenance throughout his life, most recently with U.S. Can. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and attending pro road racing events with his son. Family was always a priority in Steven’s life, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by sons: Scott McDaniel of Brady Lake, Stevie (Mary) McDaniel of Akron, and Christopher (Ashley) McDaniel of Brimfield, as well as his grandchildren: Alexis and Mason McDaniel.
Steve was preceded in death by his beloved wife Christa McDaniel on May 25, 2013. He was also preceded by his parents, and his brothers Cecil and James McDaniel.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from 5:00 PM until the 6:00 PM memorial service officiated by Pastor Brad Edder at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
