Dear brother of Pat (Shirley), Betty (Tom) Folzenlogen, Marg (Dick) Mountel, Rose (Ray-Deceased) Schneider, and the late Mary Ellen (Jim) Smith. Jim had so much love and appreciation for everyone in his family and all of his friends. He was renowned for his sense of humor and his exaggerated story telling. There is a tall tale about everyone important to him. Nieces and nephews tell tales about Indian Lake. His wife and children feel they already know those from Jim’s childhood when they meet because of all the stories they heard over and over. Everyone who was harassed by such a tale knew that it meant he loved them. If he fed you every time you walked in the door, you knew you were family.

His kind heart was apparent in his everyday actions. Jim had so much love to give to everyone in his life. Until the very end, he was thinking of others first.
