William Edward Hartman

William Edward (Bill) Hartman, passed Thursday May 18, 2017, age 86. Devoted husband of Linda for 41 years, father of Christine and Katherine, step-father of Eric Schlueter. Grandfather of Maxx, Marcus, Paige, Maya, Destiny, Hayden and William (Will). Survived by his sister Arlene (Ralph) and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents William Martin and Helen, and siblings Marion, Dorothy, and Jack. William was a retired Korean War Army Veteran and retired employee of the Federal Government. He loved to play softball and sing anytime he could. He was known for his sense of humor and his infectious laugh. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:45am followed by funeral services at 11am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 177 Siebenthauler Ave., Reading Ohio 45215, on Tuesday May 23, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s name to Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Cincinnati or to Queen City Hospice.
