Augustine Emil Nazzaro

Augustine E. "Gus" Nazzaro, 78, of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2015 in Berks Heim where he was a resident. He was the husband of Sandra L. Grove-Nazzaro. Born in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late August and Elizabeth (Distasio) Nazzaro.

He was employed with Ilaush local union painters, Reading for 40+ years, retiring in 1998. Gus was a lifetime member and lodge brother of Victor Emmanuel II Beneficial Society, Reading.

In addition to his wife, Gus is survived by his son, August E. Nazzaro Jr. of California and his daughters, Gina D. Hoffman of Sinking Spring and Dione E. Meli of Florida. Also surviving are his step-sons, Jason R. Grove of Exeter Township and Rev. Kerry Hicks of Reading. Also his step-daughter, Tiffany R. Grove-Stein of Exeter Township. Also surviving is his sister, Dolores Kite of California, 4 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 2 nephews and many cousins.

Services and burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale, will be private.
