

Bryan Lee Kroenig, Sr., 73, of Reading, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was the loving husband of Gloria Ann (Walmer) Kroenig. The couple married in Reading on June 30, 1962.
Born in Reading on May 3, 1942, Bryan was a son of the late Frank and Helen (Miller) Kroenig. He was a West Reading High School graduate.
Bryan was employed for 32 years as a welder at Reading Sheet Metal. He enjoyed bowling with his friends, riding motorcycles, fishing, listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley and drinking beer. Bryan was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.
He was a great husband, father and grandfather who loved his family very much.
In addition to his wife, Gloria; Bryan is survived by two daughters, Karen L. (Kroenig) Heck and her husband, Edwin of Sinking Spring and Kim M. (Kroenig) Geschwindt of Robesonia; a son, Bryan L. Kroenig, Jr. and his wife, Shelly DeMott-Kroenig of Cumru Twp. and four grandchildren, Kyle Geschwindt and his wife Moriah, Samantha Heck, Chloe Kroenig and Candy Kroenig.
Also surviving are two sisters and extended family, George and Tina Geschwindt.
He is predeceased by a sister.
A Celebration of Life service will be Friday, November 27, 2015 at 1pm in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. A gathering of family and friends will be in the funeral home Friday from 12pm to 1pm.
