

Charlie James Williams, 67, of 8th St., passed away in his home peacefully, with his family surrounding him on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. He was the loving husband of Robin A. (Stout) Williams. The couple married in 2004 but had been together since 1979.
Charlie was born in Camden, NJ on January 16, 1947, a son of the late Julius and Ida (Burns) Williams. He was employed with Bachman Pretzels as an extruder operator for 20 years. Charlie even won an award at Bachman’s for Perfect Attendance. He was very protective of his family but was friendly to all. Charlie was even known as a lover of all women!
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Robin Ann (Stout) Williams of Reading; 11 children: Charlie E. Williams of Jonesboro, GA, Dionne Bell of Jonesboro, GA, twins, Geraldine Beasley and Yvette Williams of Columbus, GA, Patricia Williams of Atlanta, GA, Aisha Nock of Temple, Khan Nock of Reading, Candida Jimenez of Reading, Antonio Colon of Exeter Twp., Jessica Moyer of West Reading and Joshua Williams of Reading; 39 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and one great granddaughter on the way.
Also surviving are two sisters: Ida Moore and Laverne Williams of Camden, NJ; a nephew: Curtis Simmons, III of Camden, NJ; an aunt: Minnie Williams and two cousins: Vanessa and Jessee. Charlie is predeceased by a nephew: Garrison Hallman, III.
A funeral service for Charlie will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Shillington Church of Christ, 475 Philadelphia Ave., Shillington, PA 19607. Family and friends will be received in the church from 9 to 11am on Saturday. Charlie will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading, PA. Arrangements are entrusted with the Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
