

A TIME TO DIE: Clarence departed this life on January 7, 2026 at the Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center in Reading, PA.
A TIME TO GROW: Clarence grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia where he attended Walker-Grant Elementary and High Schools. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served a tour in Germany. After serving in the Army, he relocated to Reading, PA where he spent the rest of his days. Upon relocating to Reading, he began employment at the ATV Bakery on Front Street as a Baker. He remained employed there for over 25 years.
While in high school, he enjoyed being on the Mighty Tigers Football Team where they won many championships throughout the state. Even though he lived in PA, he still loved the Commanders Football Team.
A TIME FOR FAMILY: He loved his family, and though he was in PA, he always kept up with what was going on in the ‘Burg’, asking about everybody.
A TIME TO CHERISH: His memory will be forever cherished by his two sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Hill of Capitol Heights, Md., and Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Wormley (Charles) of Fredericksburg, Va., nieces, nephews, cousins in PA and a host of schoolmates and friends.
