

Clarence Williams, 77, of Reading, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, December 5, 2016. He was the devoted husband of the late Sharon Louise (Weidenhammer) Williams. Sadly, Sharon passed away January 2016.
Born in Gadsden, AL on May 24, 1939, Clarence was a son of the late Charles Williams and Rose (Evans) Williams.
Clarence was employed with Luden’s as a candy packer and at the Bookbindery before becoming disabled.
He was a member of Bethel AME Church on Windsor and sang with the church band. Clarence enjoyed playing guitar and singing to his wife. He was known as a family man and when Sharon became ill, he never left her side.
Surviving are three sons, Clarence Bolig of Reading, Christopher Bolig of Maryland and Terry L. Weidenhammer and his wife, Earline of West Lawn; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services for Clarence will be at 11am on Monday, December 12, 2016 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday from 10 to 11am. Clarence will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Sharon in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
