Darlean Ida Rae Reifsnyder

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Jean (Kline) Katzin

She was employed since 1977 in clerical and finance with the Berks County Intermediate Unit until retiring. A breast cancer survivor, she was a 1966 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and attended Christ Evangelical Free Church, Bethel.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanie (David) Kauffman, of Mohrsville and Kelly (Dirk) Reifsnyder of Lower Alsace Twp. Also surviving are her siblings, Joseph “Billy” Katzin, Peggy (Carl) Heffner and Sandy Katzin . Also surviving are 4 her grandchildren, Miranda Garner, Lucas Reifsnyder, Sean Reifsnyder and Maggie Kauffman and her 3 great grandchildren, Everleigh, Levi and Hananiah. She was predeceased by her grandchildren Kourtney and D.J. Reifsnyder.

A Memorial Service will be held in Auman’s, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd, Reading (Exeter Twp.) Pa 19606 on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 am. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 10-11 am. Inurnment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
