Dolores Irene Stover, 84, of Cumru Township entered eternal rest on Friday, March 1, 2024. Born in Reading, PA on May 04, 1939, she was a daughter to the late Lewis Pergola and Catherine (Wentzel) Pergola Watson.
Dolores was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1957. She dedicated 35 years as a bookkeeper with Penske Truck Leasing; working there until her retirement.
Dolores found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the pages of a good book, the thrill of a card game, the excitement of shopping a sale or whipping up a comforting meal or sweet treat for her family. She had an undeniable affinity for the water in all its forms. Whether it was the soothing sounds of ocean waves or just sitting poolside, Dolores found peace and contentment by the water's edge.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dolores loved spending time with her family and was the glue that held them all together. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and her caring nature was a beacon that guided her loved ones through both joyous occasions and challenging times.
May she rest in peace, and may her love continue to ripple through the lives of all who were blessed enough to have known her.
Dolores' spirit will be carried on by her beloved husband of 65 years, Jack L. Stover; her 3 sons Scott L. Stover and his wife Rita, Jay L. Stover and his wife Jennifer, and David P. Stover and his wife Tracey. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren Stacey Powell and her husband Joshua, Jeremy Stover and his wife Stacy, Heather Mast and her husband Seth, Holly Stover, Ashley Stover, Jason Stover, and Noah Stover; and 5 great grandchildren Harper Powell, Hudson Powell, Kinsley Stover, Payton Stover and Greyson Mast to cherish her memory.
