Edwina Marie Williams

Born in Harrisburg on June 22, 1914, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late John W. and Eliza J. (Watson) Coleman. She was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Williams was known for her proper speaking and her etiquette. She enjoyed being a lady and liked to dress up no matter the occasion. Her family recalls how she always had a clean house and that everything was always in order.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her daughter, Edwina M. (Williams) Preston of Reading; seven grandchildren, Ronann Brockington and her husband, Konnie, Mona Vega, Ronald Preston, Jr., Andrea Weaver and her husband, Nathan, Elisha Preston, Michael Williams and Debra Williams; sister-in-law, Mrs. Patricia Williams and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren and other extended family.

She is predeceased by her parents; a son, Robert L. Williams; two sisters, Elizabeth J. (Coleman) Johnson and Bernis A. (Coleman) Beck and a brother, John W. Coleman.

Prayers will be said for Mrs. Williams at 12pm on Monday, March 14, 2015 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends are invited to view the matriarch of the family from 11:00am to 12pm. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
