Elizabeth "Betty" J. (Boldt) Barth

Elizabeth J. (Boldt) Barth, 91, of Leesport passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Laurel Center, Hamburg. Born October 12, 1930 in Reading to the late Robert and Catherine (Steigerwalt) Boldt. Elizabeth was the widow of the late Robert E. Barth Sr.; whom passed away on November 12, 2003.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1948. She was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills for 10 years. Elizabeth also was employed by Western Electric then became AT&T, retiring after 34 years from Lucent.

Surviving are her son Robert Barth Jr. and his wife Carol; 3 grandchildren Brandi Lynn Barth, Robert Barth III, Matthew Barth and his wife Holly. Elizabeth also leaves behind great grandson Bjorn Barth, 2 nieces Kathy, Sandy and her nephew Erick and his wife Susan.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was also predeceased by 5 siblings Catherine Bickel, Carl, Robert, Kenneth and William Boldt.

A viewing for Betty will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd, Reiffton, PA 19606. Prayer service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606.
