Elvin Harry Kreider Jr.

Elvin "Al" Harry Kreider Jr., 90, of Muhlenberg Township, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Florence J (Scheetz) Kreider on April 22, 2011.

He was born in Reading on April 19, 1934 a son of the late Elvin H. Kreider, Sr and Mary T (Walters). Elvin was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He was the owner/operator of Kreider Amusement Co. in Reading. He was a fixture at the Fairgrounds Farmer's Market at Unique & Antique stand where he put his social butterfly skills to work. Elvin was the Pop Pop's Taxi for his grandchildren and great grandchildren to and from school. He was a grandparent volunteer at school. He enjoyed telling jokes as part of his good sense of humor.

Surviving is his daughter, Lisa A and her husband Steven Keller, step son, Paul Hunsberger, step daughter, Susan Feltenberger, grandson, Scott Keller, 4 step grandchildren; Tammy, Paul Jr., Amy and Jennifer, 2 great grandchildren, Chase Keller and Natalie Keller and 4 step great grandchildren; Austin, Hailey, Samantha and Dane.

Elvin was predeceased by his twin brother, John A Kreider and half brother, William Shalter.

Services will be Thursday January 23, 2025 at 11am in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd Reading PA 19606. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Thursday 10-11am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N 11th St Reading PA 19604.
