

Frank Elmer Foreman, 89, of Reading, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, February 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the loving husband of the late Clara Jane (Goodwin) Foreman. Sadly, Clara passed away in 2011.
Born in Reading on December 16, 1927, Frank was a son of the late Elmer and Stella (Marciniak) Foreman. He was a World War II veteran and served in the US Army.
Frank was employed with Rockwell International for over 30 years. He was known as a happy-go-lucky man and was loved by his family and friends. Frank enjoyed watching his buddy John Cena wrestle on WWE. His favorite thing to do was to dance with his great grandchildren.
Surviving is a daughter: Stella M. Foreman of Douglassville; six step children: Otis F. Smith of Reading, Vernon E. Smith of Mechanicsburg, Billy J. Smith of Corpus Christi, TX; Joy L. Smith of Corpus Christi, TX, Carol A. (Smith) Kretz and her husband, David of Reading and Harry A. G. Smith of Harrisburg; 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two siblings: Joseph W. Foreman and his wife, Pearl of Reading and Florence W. (Foreman) Eltz of Bernville; nieces; nephews and a host of friends.
Frank is predeceased by a step son, Brian D. Smith; two brothers, Elmer and Herbert Foreman; a sister, Elizabeth Mauer; a step brother, John Bright; and brother-in-law, Charles W. Eltz.
Services for Frank are at 11:30am on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be receved in the funeral home on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30am. Burial will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 2pm in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
