Franklyn Christopher Raymond Smith

He was the husband of Jemma (Hackett) Smith

He was born in Trinidad.

He worked as a penitentiary officer while living in Trinidad. After coming to the states, he worked for Chase Bank, Met Life and as a chauffer for Sloan Kettering Hospital while in New York. He last worked as a supervisor of security at St. Joseph Hospital, Reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Roger Smith of Harrisburg and Wayne Smith of Atlanta, Georgia. Also, his daughter Wendy Smith of Reading. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Teeya Smith, Tyreese Smith, Tiyana Smith, Damian Washington, Duane Washington, Dwayna Herbert, Vanessa Allyene, Natasha Allyene and Shaquille Allyene. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Theo. C. Auman, Inc. Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street, Reading, Pa. 19601. Admittance to the building will begin promptly at 2:00 pm and the viewing will end promptly at 3:00 pm. Masks are required inside the facility.
