

Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Herbert Lee and Sallie (Gatlin) Morrison.
He was employed with NGK Metals, Tuckerton, for 37 years, until retiring. Along with working at NGK, Chubby also operated his own masonry business for many years. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Reading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Constance A. Thompson of Cumru Township; Wanda E. Morrison of Chatham, N.J.; and Brenda L. Morrison of Willingboro, N.J. Also surviving is a half-sister, Helen, wife of James Stephens, of North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Sherry Lynn Morrison, Nichole Morrison and Anthony Morrison, all of Willingboro, N.J.; and a great-grandson, Antonio. He was predeceased by his sisters, Eula Mae Miller and Sallie Louise Thompson; and his brother, Clarence Morrison. Services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Baptist Church, 224 Washington Street, Reading, PA 19601. Friends and family may view on Friday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
