Gerald Paul Kauffman, 78, of Stony Creek Mills, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 with his wife by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years of marriage, Trudy L. (Lickel) Kauffman. He was born February 24, 1943 in Reading.
Gerry was a 1960 Reading High School graduate and proceeded to serve his country in the U.S. Navy receiving an honorable discharge. He was a Kutztown University graduate with a bachelor degree in education and was employed by BCIU as a teacher's aide as a one on one with special needs individuals. Gerry was an antique dealer and constructed picture frames. He loved spending time with family and friends and was an avid reader. Gerry enjoyed music, especially country and blue grass.
In addition to his wife, Gerry is also survived by his 2 daughters; Jennifer and her husband Christopher Kantner of Drexel Hill, Kate and her husband Ted Sipple of Pennside and 5 grandchildren; Samantha, Colby, Allison, MacKenzie and Sydney.
A visitation with family and friends for Gerald will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 10:30 AM -11:30 AM at Auman's Inc, 390 W Neversink Rd, Reiffton, PA 19606, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.
