Born in Annville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas S. and Anna M. Wagner (Schell). She moved to Reading, PA, after graduating from Conrad Weiser in 1963.
She worked many retail management positions throughout her life. She enjoyed pets, cooking, arts and crafts, puzzles, computer games, shopping and long conversations on the phone with her many friends and her son. Her cat, Baby, and chihuahua, Daphne, are adopted into loving homes.
Surviving are three sons: George Staley, Eric Bowman, and William "Billy" Bowman. Also surviving are her sisters Ruth "Cookie" Wagner; Jodi Weinreich and her husband, Irvin; her brother, Stephen Wagner, and her best friend, Anita Wagner.
Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks Women in Crisis, 255 Chestnut St., Reading, PA 19602.
