Kathleen Rose Jastrzembski, 66, of Reading, PA entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at her residence. Born April 22, 1955 in Reading, PA she was a daughter to the late Clayton W. Sando and Jean H. (Steinmetz) Sando.
Kathleen was a graduate of Reading High School and worked as a Library Clerk for the Reading Public Library for over 20 years, until her retirement in 2017.
Kathleen was an avid Reading sports team fan, especially the Reading Phillies and the Reading High - Red Knights Basketball team. She was a collector of many things, particularly comic books and Santa Claus memorabilia. Kathleen was a lover of cats, flowers, arts & crafts, soap operas and scary movies; however above all else, she truly loved her family.
Kathleen could be best described as a sweet and kind woman who was always willing to help anyone in need. A beautiful woman with a beautiful heart too big to describe, Kathleen's kindness and truly compassionate nature, touched all blessed enough to have known her.
Kathleen's spirit will be carried on by her brother Donald Sando and his companion Cindy Busnach, of Reading; 3 nephews Clayton Sando and his companion Damaris Garcia, of Reading, Jason Sando, of Colorado, Giovanni Sando and his wife Sierra Sando and her niece Jennifer Sando, of Reading. Kathleen also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents Clayton and Jean, Kathleen was greeted in heaven by her brother Jeffrey Sando.
A viewing for Kathleen will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton, PA 19606. Graveside committal service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at Charles Evans Cemetery, 1119 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601, with Rev. Dr. Robert Aregood officiating.
