Lois was the daughter of the late Paul and Florence Good. Lois worked for Maier’s Bakery prior to her first born. She was an active member of One United Church of Christ, Kenhorst, where she played on their church dartball team for many years and was a very active member of their candy making crew. Lois would do it all, from running to get supplies, to mixing the candy batches, to molding the peanut butter, coconut, and mint patties, to coating the candy, by hand, with chocolate. But don’t forget the best part, quality control: sampling the finished product.
Lois is survived by her two sons, David Flamm of Soldotna, AK (wife Linda); Norman Flamm of Blandon, PA (wife Terry). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jonathan, Juliana, Joy, Alexandria, Hattie and Parker.
Lois loved camping with the Pagoda Ramblers, the Poconos, and the many camping road trips made with the family, including a cross country road trip with her husband in their later years. You could always find her outside in the garden, either picking the vegetables or weeding to keep the gardens looking nice. Lois always looked forward to the weekly walks with the neighbors in her younger years. She made every holiday memorable by decorating the house for the occasion especially at Christmas with the 15+ different types of Christmas cookies she made.
