Marianne Barbara Martin, 87, of Wernersville, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard C. Gaston and then her second husband, Matthew Martin.
Marianne was born in Aubach , Czechoslovakia on September 26, 1936 a daughter of the late Franz and Anna (Pilz) Zocher.
She came to the United States in 1961 and was later employed by Service Merchandise and Sarah Coventry as a sales associate where she won trips for top sales. She was a bowler for over 55 years and loved animals, flowers and butterflies. Marianne enjoying cooking German foods, going to the casinos and playing bingo.
Surviving are her 2 children; Tim Gaston and Margo Raudenbush and her husband Donald Raudenbush, 4 grandchildren; Amanda Shugar and her husband Daniel Shugar, Timothy Gaston and his fiance' Jamie Reber, Johnathan Schannauer and Ryan Schannauer and 3 great granddaughters; Lily, Hailey and Kylie.
Marianne was predeceased by her 2 siblings; Franz Zocher and Ingrid Zocher.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lori's Loving Hands or Animal Rescue League.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 6pm in Theo C Auman , 247 Penn St., Reading with a viewing from 5-8pm.
