Matthew Kyle Loose

Matthew Kyle Loose, 26, of Wernersville, passed away peacefully in the Reading Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday morning, November 16, 2014. He was the son of Joseph James and Renee' Lynn (Mohler) Lubas and father of Kali Rae Schrufer. Born on July 31, 1988 in Reading, Matthew was a 2006 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School.

Matthew was last employed with Dairy Farms of America. He also worked as a landscaper and with Lubas Electric as an electrical helper. He enjoyed playing Racquet Ball and going to the gym to work out. He was known for taking care of his body and he thought he was an Adonis. He really enjoyed picking on his little sister and driving her crazy but he loved his Pop and looked forward to watching NASCAR with him.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his parents, Joseph J. and Renee' L.; his four siblings: Amanda Loose Surrant of Reading, Michael Loose of West Lawn, Amber Lubas of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Darrielle Lubas of Wernersville; maternal grandfather, Roger Mohler of Wernersville; paternal grandmother, Barbara (Galdun) Lubas of Reading; daughter, Kali Rae Schrufer and a Baby Girl on the way with their mother, Lea Schrufer of Reading. Also survived by his biological father, James Loose of West Lawn; two step brothers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is predeceased by his aunt, Raelyn Mohler and uncle, Robert Mohler. Matthew's last gift to the world was the most precious, selfless gift he could give; he donated his organs to those in need through Gift of Life. Matthew's gift will allow others to live on. His selfless act made his parents very proud of him and reminded them of his great love and how this young man found ways to help others.

A funeral service for Matthew will be at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Thursday from 6 p.m. until the time of service. Matthew will be laid to rest in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Flowers are welcome and memorial contributions may be made at any Santander Bank for Matthew's children where a Trust Fund is set up for Kali Rae and Baby Girl.
