To start his career, Michael served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Upon his return to civilian life, he made a career as a chemist working at Laurel Water Co., until his retirement. Michael was a devout Catholic & was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus RCC, Cornwall.
Michael was an avid water skier, a zealous Pittsburgh Steelers fan & loved to spend time working in his garden & landscaping his yard. He was strong willed & stubborn but underneath that hard exterior he was a super kind, loving & compassionate man. Michael cared deeply for his family & was an outstanding husband.
Michael's spirit will be carried on by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dianne (Valponi) Gregovich; his daughter Leanne Johnson & her husband Todd, of Lebanon, PA; son Dave Watt & his wife Sheryl, of Ashville, PA & daughter Lynn Gregovich, of Myrtle Beach, SC. Michael also leaves behind 4 grandchildren Emily Sarver, Alyse Johnson-Chilla, Laura Christian, Jeremy Neese; 7 great grandchildren KaReyah, JaVeyah, Alayah, Francesca, Leonardo, Eliza & Mallory to cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, Michael was greeted in heaven by his brother Fred Gregovich, sister Dorothy Milevac & grandson Daniel Sarver.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Auman's Inc., Reiffton. Funeral services will be private & at the discretion of Michael's family.
