Born on January 5, 1937, in Hempstead, New York, Nancy spent most of her life in Reading, Pennsylvania, where she built a life centered around family, laughter, and love. She worked as a daycare provider and was known for the care and kindness she gave so freely to others.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a heart big enough for everyone around her. She had a special way of treating everyone like they were her own children or grandchildren, and she brought smiles and laughter wherever she went. She will be remembered most for her big personality, her wonderful sense of humor, and the love she shared so generously.
She found joy in many simple but meaningful things. Nancy loved the color green, was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. More than anything, she loved being a grandmother and treasured the time she spent with her family.
Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Rosen.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Goode, Pamela Brown, and Thomas Zimpelman; her grandchildren, Jarrod Brown, Alisha Wentzel, Kyle Brown, Eric White, Thomas Zimpelman, Brandon Brown, Christopher Zimpelman, Alex Citrolo, and Felicia Goode; and her great-grandchildren, Alina Zabala, Mila Brown, Leonardo Brown Zabala, Norah Brown, Maddox Brown, and Margot Brown.
