

Born in Reading on May 4, 1948, he was a son of the late Richard E. Sr. and Gloria (Kane) Schulze. He was a 1966 graduate of Exeter High School. Richard was a US Naval veteran and served from 1966 to 1970.
Richard was employed with Parish Dana Corporation first as a welder and later in the maintenance department until they closed. Later in life, he was employed by Cambridge Lee in the maintenance department until he retired in 2014.
Surviving Richard are two daughters, Joette M. (Schulze) Fisher, companion of Jason E. Shiller, of Shillington; and Crystal L. (Schulze) Weand and her husband, Alan L. Jr., of Reading; seven grandchildren: Felicia Ribble, Samantha Casari, Nicholas Roberts, Zachary Casari, Benjamin Roberts, Christopher Weand and Addison Fisher; three great-grandchildren: Colton Geise, Layla Borges and Leo Roberts; three brothers: Randy Schulze and his wife, Kim, of Reading; Terry Schulze of Grand Prairie, TX; and Rodney Schulze of Birdsboro; and a sister, Bambi Crater of Morgantown.
Services for Richard are private and at the convenience of the family. Auman's Inc., Funeral Home, Reiffton, is entrusted with the arrangements.
