Robert L. Weller

Mr. Weller was born on January 13, 1934 in Shillington, PA, son of the late Clarence I. and Dorothy (Hartman) Weller.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Lebanon Crisis, serving in the United States Navy. Bob retired as a locksmith with the Baldwin Hardware Company in Reading, PA, before moving to Delaware. He enjoyed bowling, boating and fishing.

Bob will be remembered as a man who loved working around his home and making people smile.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dean Weller, a sister, Barbara Wieand, and a grandson, Robert Bulat Jr. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Verllie "Val" (Osborne) Weller; six children, Rosa Lee Brooke, Michael Weller Sr., Gary Weller, Lorrie Ann Gearhart, Janet Lynn Zeiber, and Larry James Weller; two brothers, Richard and Ronald Weller; a sister, Lois Kline; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Auman's Funeral Home, Inc. 390 West Neversink Rd. Reading, PA 19606.
