Ruth Haines

She was born October 23, 1922 in Columbia, PA, the daughter of the late Edward S. and Eva (Kendig) Arnold.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse H. Haines, in 1990.

She loved bingo, shopping and card games. She was a lover of dogs who had a free spirit and had a zest for life. She was an excellent homemaker and loved her two sons deeply.

She is survived by her sons, Scott A. Haines and his wife, Jean, of Reading and Terry L. Haines and his wife, Carole, of Palmyra.

Ruth is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Thad Haines of Reading, Laurie Haines of Lebanon, Kristin Mangan of Portland, OR, Travis Haines of Yakima, WA, and Justin Haines of Palmyra; and a sister, Janet Leon of Lake Mary, FL; and 5 great-grandchildren.

At Ruth's request, services and burial will be private.
