Sarah Jane Esterly, 85, passed away Thursday January 14, 2021 in Manor Care Laureldale. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Franklin M. Esterly. She was born in Laureldale on March 4, 1935 a daughter of the late, George J. Schaeffer and Nellie (Diehm) Schaeffer. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Franklin M. Esterly, Jr. (Nancy), Lorraine Collier (Benny), Vincent Esterly, Bonita Bowers, Peter Esterly (Jennifer), Mary Stubblebine (Ron), Deborah Rowe (Coby), Ruth Natole (Todd), Rebecca Wunderlich (Jayme), 30 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday January 22, 2021 at 1230pm in Theo C Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St Reading. Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Viewing Friday 1030-1230pm. www.theocauman.com
