Thanh Huu Hoang

He was the loving husband of Thien Nguyen.

Born in Viet Nam on May 15, 1949, Thanh was a son of the late Huu Kieu Hoang and Thi Tu An Truong.

He was employed with Giorgio Foods Inc., Enviro-Bio-Tech. Inc., Construction Fasteners Inc., and Power Packaging.

Thanh enjoyed traveling, photography, watching and playing tennis, and being with family.

In addition to his wife, Thien, Thanh is survived by a son, Timothy Hoang; four brothers: Huu Duc Hoang, Huu Thinh Hoang, Huu Hien Hoang and Huu Tung Hoang; seven sisters: Thi Phuong Thao Hoang, Thi Phuong Mai Hoang, Thi Phuong Trang Hoang, Thi Kim Lien, Thi Kim Loan, Barbara Sweigert and Vicki Boyer; and many nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 322 S. 5th St., Reading. Family and friends will be received at the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18th and Friday, October 19th.
