He was born in Pottstown, PA. on February 5, 1947, a son of the late Theodore H. Stricker, II and Gladys (Collins) Stricker. Teddy was a 1965 Pottstown High School graduate and was enlisted into the Army serving during The Vietnam War from 1966-1968. He was employed by Dana Corp. for 30 years retiring there. He received his certification in Lay Ministry I and II from Lee University and served as an assistant pastor at Spring Valley Church of God from 2000-2010 where he was a faithful member and also pastor of Covenant Church of God, in Ephrata from 2010-2012. While living in Edenton, NC, he served as an assistant pastor at Church of God preaching his last message on January 5, 2025. Teddy enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the Reading Phillies games and vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his family. He and Kathy enjoyed the great outdoors and camped at 7 State Parks in NC. Theodore definitely lived a robust life.
Also surviving are his children, Todd (Kirsten) Stricker, Matthew Stricker, Lora (Steve) Street, Natoli (Daniel) Krouse, Joseph (Kristin) Borelli, Frank (Yasmin) Borelli, and Rachel DiScala, sister, Margaret (Harry) Janke, 12 grandchildren, Juliana, Eli, Asher, Kiera, Vanessa, Sage, Cort, Autumn, Giorgino and Gabriella and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Theodore will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM. Private burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, June 25, 2025.Auman's Inc Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
