I'm so sorry to hear of Carrie's passing. I went to school with her from Manzanita through Shasta, and I remember her as a very warm, friendly person. Even though I haven't seen her in all these years, I can still picture her huge smile.

To Russ and the family and friends of Carrie. I'm saddened to hear about the loss of your beautiful daughter. May you have some moments of peace knowing she is in loving hands.

Carrie and I were friends for many years and I have many special memories I will hold close to my heart. She was beautiful, kind and very fun to be around . Carrie was was of my oldest and dearest friends.  She was like the little sister I never had and her family became my second family.  Carrie introduced me to my husband Orbie and was my Maid of honor in our wedding.  I loved her very much and I will miss her beautiful smile, her bubbly personality and her infectious laugh. Even though we didn't see each other often, when we did it was like we never missed a step, as if we had seen each other the day before.  My heart goes out to her family, her daughter and all of her many friends who will feel her loss, as I will.

We remember Carrie as a beautiful and outgoing young woman, and Nancy enjoyed having her as a student at Shasta College many years ago.  Carrie was a bright and eager student, the kind teachers always hope they'll have in their classes.  She will be greatly missed.  Sending prayers and peace to her daughter and to the Guenther and Pollard families.

My heart breaks for the Guenther family and the Pollard family.  Our son and daughter grew up with the Pollard children and shared many outdoor adventures with them through the years.  My prayer is that the love and support of family and friends become a powerful healing agent to bring lasting peace to Carrie's family.

Carrie was a co-worker of mine at Shasta College.  We became very close friends, she was generous, thoughtful, caring with a smile that shined for miles.  Although we lost touch over the past few years I thought of her often.  You are now one of God's angels my friend. I miss you. Kathy Miller

I met Carrie through St. James Lutheran Church's Chancel Choir.  We sat together in the Soprano section, her with her angelic voice and her laugh.  The last time I saw her was at  Pastor Bill's retirement party in October.  She was a beautiful angel here on earth and she will be a beautiful angel in Heaven.

I got to know Carrie when she worked at Shasta College, and we immediately hit it off!  She was always a shining star, beautiful inside and out.  Her smile was infectious and her laughter contagious.  Carrie was special, and I will miss her...on angels wings...until we meet again my friend.
