Cory Eugene Faulkner

August 20, 1985 - January 14, 2011

Cory Eugene Faulkner took his first breath of air on August 20, 1985 at

the Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, California to James Eugene and Tracy Faulkner. Cory grew up, lived, laughed and loved with his siblings; Stacy, Michael, Megan, Krystal, Dustin, and Austin.

Cory lived in Redding for the past 24 years where he attended North Cow Creek School and then graduated onto Foothill High where he was a remarkable football player and found the love of his life, Nicole Mason. In years to come Cory and Nicole married on August 10, 2008 and were blessed with Kaden Cory Faulkner, 7; Jesse James Faulkner, 5; Ryder David Faulkner, 3; Halo Eugene Faulkner, 2; and Kailey Jiara Beverly Madi-Lynn Ashley Faulkner, 6 months.

Cory was a committed husband and loving father in which his family meant the world to him. Cory was thrown many obstacles in his life and was very proud to graduate The New Life Recovery Program at the Good News Rescue Mission on October 3, 2009. Through his struggles Cory became a devoted Christian whose biggest accomplishment was finding faith and joining the Lords army.

His devotion and love for our Lord which led him to become an ordained minister. Along with serving his faith Cory was a Wild Life Firefighter and outstanding construction laborer for many years. Everyone who knew him knew Cory's outgoing comical personality and felt his unconditional love. Cory Eugene Faulkner was welcomed home in the arms of our Lord on January 14, 2011 and is also survived by his new married into family Dave, Karen, Joren Mason and Ashley Faulkner. He also left behind his grandparents John and Janis Berard, Barbara Austin, and Randy and Norm Jorgensen. He also leaves behind his nieces; JessAnnah, Hailey and nephews; Kyle, Wyatt, Justin, Jeremy, Darius, and Harley, aunts and uncles Tami and Dave Ledesma; Troy and Keri Blackburn; Trevor and Sherri Berard; Lisa Kulhaneck; Elita Marky; Carrisa Franco; Dale Vanderbush; and many Great Aunts, Uncles and Cousins to many to name.

There will be a viewing at Lawncrest Cemetery on Friday January 21, 2011

from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and the funeral services will be

the following Monday January 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
