Don was such an incredibly kind, compassionate, and wise man with an awesome sense of humor. No matter how heavy a burden was ever on my heart, Don could always lighten the load by infusing humor into the situation which inevitably helped me to take on a brighter perspective. He was the kind of person who just naturally loved people and tried to see the best in them. And the way he loved his family and adored his wife was a shining example to many of what deep devotion is all about. My heart goes out to the family. This world has try lost a gem with the passing of Don Schulman, but his was a life well-lived.

Karen and I were blessed to have Uncle Don share his wisdom and a joke with us at our wedding. I was glad to meet him, sad to hear about his passing and regretfully did not have enough time to hear more stories or learn  about him and his life. Rest easy Sailor, we have the watch from here.
