To Kens family..
I first met Ken when he and my mom worked at Sears.  Then next was at the chamber of Commerce he was very entertaining. Ken volunteered at KIXE for many years,  he was wonderful in traffic, one of our in studio auctions, we ordered a tux for him.  He did not like that "monkey suit".  He fussed about it all night long.  He later brought groups to answer phones for pledge drive.  Ken cared alot about his community, he will be missed....

Ken always had a special place in my heart. He made me laugh, and to me that is the most precious...the most joyous expression of Love that there is! To hear someone laugh means that they feel great, if even for that moment. I hope that Ken left you laughing. He was a funny guy. Bless him and all of your family, Lou. I met Ken many years ago while attending Greeter's. What a character, I did look forward to Thursday morning Greeter's...It was Ken, Larry Lees & myself causing a ruckus.  To Ken's family, may you find comfort in the memories you hold. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Ken Schneider:  I was so surprised to read of his passing - I am so sorry - from what I could see he was a man of wonderful character.                             I work for the City of Redding's Purchasing Division and many years ago became acquainted with Ken due to his job at Costco.  What a delight! It was oh, so clear, he was a man of integrity, and a very personable and trustworthy individual.  I can only hope that when he left Costco it meant more quality time with his family.  Seventy-three is way too early for such a sweet man to be taken.  I can only imagine that he is truly needed elsewhere.   Thank you for the chance to have met him!   -Binky Peer

About 1970 Ken was chairman of a fireworks booth for the Vallejo Junior Chamber of Commerce.  I had the pleasure of volunteering with him in that project and organization.  Surprisingly, after moving to Redding area, we became re-acquainted.  Never was there a more dedicated man who always had his friends and community foremost in his actions.  I know that all who worked with Ken realize that we have lost a treasure. In his own way, he was a great man and friend over 40 years.
