Long time Chico resident, Linda, passed away February 18, 2016 in Redding California after a short battle with complications from a neurological disorder, surrounded by family and friends. Born December 19, 1951 in Chelsea, MA, to Betsy and Ralph Wilson. She was later adopted by Iven Parks, after the death of her biological father. Linda grew up in Concord and graduated from Concord High School in 1970. She graduated from Samuel Merritt School of Nursing in Oakland and spent most of her career as an ICU and Perianesthesia Care Unit nurse at Chico Community and Enloe hospitals. She moved to Redding in 2008 to take care of her mother after her dad, Iven passed away. She is survived by her mother Betsy Parks, sisters Donna Pacetti and Nancy Savidge of Colorado, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
