Lorraine Cassandra Ardis

God had a purpose. On September 12, 1953, a gift was given to Elmerc Ray and Loretha Ardis “a baby girl named Lorraine Cassandra Ardis.” She was born in Longview, Texas. While in California, she graduated from Cuberly High School and went on to college.

As she took the journey from childhood to adulthood, God’s prize possession went to live in San Francisco and from there her foot steps were ordered by God to East Palo Alto. But her journey did not end there. She moved to Redding, CA where she lived for 15 years. While a pilgrim just passing through she would have many different jobs. Her Life motto was “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain”. She was preceded in death by her father Elma Ray Ardis she leaves the following to cherish her memory: two Sons, John L miller III (LaKala Miller) and William Miller. A daughter; Nicole Miller, Mother Loretha Williams, two sisters Margie Dortch (Walter Dortch)and Billy Jean Mitchelle. Two brothers Dawayne and Derick Ardis, two beautiful grandchildren Nashon Johnson and Calli Miller. Two Nieces Mareshia Sosnoff and Lydia Dortch, one nephew Kamarr Donald, Great Niece Mylan Dortch, and a host of relatives and friends,
