Ruth was one of a kind and we loved her gentle character. A generous and kind person, she was always quick with a strong hug, and while she had hold of us, we would marvel at the proliferation of butterfly ornaments in her hair! It was her secret how she got them to stay.

From our window we could see the glass figurine collection in hers and rotating rainbow prisms bending the sunlight. But none were as pretty or dazzling as her smile.

After she left the park a couple of years ago, we had an opportunity to leave too, and this is the first we knew of her passing. We missed her then, and miss her even more now.
