Arlene was the beloved longtime partner of Andrew Zuzow, who preceded her in death in 2020. Together they shared more than 20 loving years. She was the dearest sister of the late Edward R. Nashlon and a loving aunt to Dan (Kim Davidson) Nashlon, Scott (Alison) Nashlon, and the late Jeff Krummi. Arlene was a cherished great-aunt to Anna Davidson, Paityn Nashlon, and Hope Nashlon.
Arlene grew up in Redford, Michigan, and graduated from Thurston High School. She went on to have a long and dedicated career with Hudson’s/Macy’s, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment, before retiring.
A devout member of St. Sabina Catholic Church for many years, Arlene’s faith was an important part of her life and community.
She will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery. A memorial Mass in her honor will be held at St. Sabina Catholic Church on Monday December 29, 2025 at 11am (gathering 10:30am).
Arlene will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to family, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In her honor, donations can be made to St.Sabina Church.
