Orrin Cobane

Orrin Cobane, age 92, died peacefully on October 17, 2016. Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father of Sharon (Mike) Bonfiglio, Barbara (Dan) O’Neil and Jim (Pam) Cobane. Grandfather to Phillip, Bryan (Renee), Jennifer, Patrick (Caitlyn), Colin, Nicholas, Hannah and Mark. Great-grandfather to Ava, Alissa, Cayden, Saydie, and Prestynn. Brother to Robert. Orrin was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Raymond and his siblings Raymond, Floyd, Inez and Glendora.

Orrin was retired from the Detroit Board of Education where he was a Stationary Steam Engineer and a member of Engineering Local #547. He was a proud WWII veteran who served in the Navy aboard a LST as a Motor Machinist 2ndClass. Orrin was an avid Detroit Tiger fan and he loved spending time with his family, friends and fellow vets.

Funeral Service Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 3 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 25450 Plymouth Road in Redford. Visitation Saturday from 12 pm until the time of service at 3 pm.
