We will miss you Uncle Richard, your nephews Rick and Tim Woolcott and Kevin Hale.

All of those ground balls he used to hit to us...made us better ball players; made us better people.  A good man!

We have known Mr.Channell for 46 years. He was very kind and always smiling. RIP dear neighbor.

Where do I start writing a message like this? I have so many good memories of Mr. Channell. Dianne and I have been best friends since we were four years old. I spent a lot of time at her house growing up. Mr. Channell was a kind, caring and compassionate man. I have so many good memories. I remember the trip to Cedar Pointe ever summer. I always went too. We waited all year for that. Dianne and I being silly teenage girls singing along to the radio all the way there and home. Mr. Channell's chocolate chip pancakes were the best. I'm sorry I can't make it up there as you are laid to rest, but I know you're in a better place with your lovely wife.

So sorry to hear about your dad.  He was such a kind man with a gentle smile to match.  Hold your memories close to you're heart.  Thinking of you all during this difficult time !

As a child, I spent many Saturday evenings with my brother Steve at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We would play pool, play outside, watch the tube, and just have fun being with our Grandpa.  As evening came, we would all hop in the car to pick up Grandma from work, and get our favorite lemon filled, chocolate covered donuts.  He knew how happy those donuts made us.  If we misbehaved, we may have gotten pulled by our ear to correct what we'd done but we always got those donuts.  Love, compassion, discipline if needed, strength, and a strong moral compass are all things I was being taught, without even knowing it.  Even though my grandparents are now reunited in Heaven, the profound impact they had on me will last a lifetime here on earth.  As will the memory of enjoying those donuts with them. I love you both.
