Shirley Ann Matthews

She was a beloved wife of the late Joe Nathan Matthews. Loving mother of Theresa (William) Thackston and Annette Matthews. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Jones, Dashene (Johnvonte) Anderson and Taylor Thackston. Dearest great grandmother of Amiyah Anderson, Ameer Anderson and Rylee Anderson.

Siblings: Geraldine (late Robert B)Schneider, Gertrude (late George)Greene, John R. (Cynthia) Chaney, Denise (Jake) Chaney, Ivey (James) Thomas, the Late Michael (Daphani) Chaney, Min. Ava-Angell Chaney, Bruce (Tamela) Chaney.

Shirley loved shopping and spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching her favorite black and white television shows like Andy Griffith on Tv Land Network and playing Solitaire. She never left the house without her hair and nails being done! Shirley will be deeply missed but has been re-united with the love of her life Joe.

A small gathering and service will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Sunday March 6, 2022 at 11am .
