

Virginia dedicated twenty years of her professional life working as a clerk for Cadillac Mutual Insurance in Detroit, where she was known for her reliability and strong work ethic, before retiring.
She was especially known for her green thumb and took great joy in caring for her plants. Gardening brought her peace and fulfillment, and her home was often filled with thriving greenery lovingly tended by her hands.
Virginia is survived by her beloved daughter, Sheila Latimer, and her sister, Beverly Burt.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Marbury (née Brown), and her brother-in-law, Robert Burt.
Virginia will be remembered for her quiet strength, dedication to her family, and her love of nurturing life through her plants. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
In accordance with Virginia’s wishes, cremation will take place. No public memorial services have been scheduled.
