Robert, known to family and close friends as Bob was born on April 25, 1968 in Bellevue Washington. He passed away on February 14, 2021 Found on February 18, 2021 at home in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was the eldest son of 4 children. He is survived by his loving mother, 2 sisters, 1 son, 1 grandson, 3 nieces, 4 nephews, and a great nephew. He was an enrolled member of Snohomish Tribe.
Bob was raised in Redmond Washington with his siblings. He loved fishing and hunting (duck and quail) in our backyard. Bear creek ran through our yard, his favorite place to be morning and night. He became a master at his craft as he used corn on a hook and tied it to a stick to lure his prey. He would set up the fishing hook the night before, and check it in the morning. If he caught something he would cook it and eat it before he went to school. His mom told him not to hunt the pretty quail because they didn’t have a lot of meat anyway. She didn’t want anything to do with his wild catch.
He always loved being outside, and as a little boy he would wake up, eat his breakfast and be outside for hours. When it snowed he would stay outside until he got so cold he would come in and stand by the fireplace and cry. After he warmed up he would be right back outside. He was always happy to help his mom in the kitchen asking what to do next. As he grew up he had a love for fast cars, and working on them.
Bob was a kind, compassionate, loving person and friend. He worked building trusses, and other labor jobs throughout his life.
