William ‘Bill’ Keith Dodson was born on August 4, 1952 to Billy Joe and Gracie LaDean Dodson in Holdenville, OK. Bill passed away on January 26, 2021 in the comfort of his own home in Snohomish county. He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Jess; grandchildren; Robert and Rhianalyn; brother; Steven and his wife Sandra.
Bill moved with his family to the Pacific Northwest in 1961 and settled in Redmond, WA. He graduated from Redmond High School in 1970. After that, he met his beautiful wife, Mary and they got married in 1980. Soon after that, they moved to Snohomish in 1981 and that is where he’s called home ever since.
In Bill’s career he worked as an Inspector for PSE for 20+ years. After that, he was at the Snohomish County Planning & Development as a Grading Inspector until he retired in 2015.
Bill’s passion was fishing. He lived to fish. Other activities that he enjoyed were boating, camping, a little bit of golfing and of course motorcycles. You’d also catch him every now and then yelling at the Seahawks and Huskies football teams. Although when he wasn’t caught up with that, he enjoyed working outside in his yard, spending time at his Lake Roosevelt Vacation home and doing what he enjoyed most; fishing.
