Helen entered into rest on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at her home in Redwood City. Born on October 9, 1922 in New Mexico, she was 89 years old and lived Redwood City for 64 years. A housewife for 64 years, she is preceded in death by her husband, Abdon Johnson and her grandson, Matthew Johnson. Loving mother to Jeanne Johnson, Sharon Johnson and John Johnson, cherished grandmother to Nicole Johnson and Adam Johnson. She will be especially missed by Ralph Rivera, who is a dear friend and was like a son to her. Family and friends were invited to attend viewing on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 4pm until 9pm and rosary was held at 7pm with funeral service on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11am at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Road, Redwood City, Ca 94061. Graveside service to follow at Gate of Heaven Memorial Park in Los Altos.
