

She is survived by her loving husband age 93, Jean B. Sanchot; two children, Evelyn Wilson and Dominique Stenzel; four grandchildren, Christine Howes, Shawn Sanchot-Wilson, Valerie Scagliola, Natalie Simpson; and five great-grandchildren, Collin, Alexander, Isabela, Caden, Camille and all her family and friends in France.
Simone and Jean just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year.
Simone was born in Pau France on September 7, 1924 and came to America with her mother Maria Cazalis, Jean, Evelyn and Dominique in 1961. She and Jean loved to return to their home in Accous, France each year to enjoy the summer months.
Her passion was sewing; she made all of her children’s clothing, prom dresses, and a wedding dress for Dominique. During her working years, she was a professional seamstress at an alterations shop in San Mateo.
She loved to entertain family and friends in her home, which usually included several games of cards. Her home was always full of joy and laughter and she will be truly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:30am at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Rd Redwood City.
Her family wishes to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and caregivers who made the last years of her life full of quality care.
