Dr. Ronald Allan Brady, respected dentist and devoted member of the Dinuba and Reedley communities, passed away peacefully while surrounded by loving family on August 11, 2025, at the age of 86.
Born on July 24, 1939, in Gothenburg, Nebraska, Ron was the son of the late Harlan Riis Brady and Dorothy Elizabeth Brady (Seals). After graduating from Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle, Washington, he attended Walla Walla College in College Place, Washington as a pre-dental student and later he pursued his passion for healthcare, earning his DDS degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1966. He took over Dr. Wesley B. Wohlgemuth's dental practice in Dinuba, California and for over forty-two years, he dedicated his life to providing exceptional dental care, creating a warm and welcoming environment for generations of families.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Brady was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Dinuba and was a long-time member and even served as President of the Dinuba Kiwanis Club. Through the years he helped many people and was known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed getting away to the mountains, playing a variety of musical instruments including trumpet, saxophone and even "messed around" on the organ. Yosemite National Park was a very special place for him to get away and relax.
He leaves behind three children, Gary Brady, Rhonda (Brady) Goertz, and Shona (Brady) Alferd, six grandchildren, Brittni (Brady) Martin, Kristin (Brady) Hansen, Garrison Goertz, Troy Goertz, Shawn Alferd, and Shelbi (Alferd) Castaneda: eleven great-grandchildren, a sister Sharon (Brady) Striker and a brother Layne Brady. He is preceded in death by both of his parents Harlan and Dorothy Brady.
A memorial service will be held Dopkins Reedley Funeral Chapel in Reedley, California on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00am.
